Session Performance

PERFORM !

Play with different combinations and when you found combinations you like, try to make a performance and record it!

If you are ready, press the record button in the upper center and start performing. Remember the launch of those clips is quantised, so you have usually a measure of time to switch clips on and off.

Try to record not more than a minute. If you are finished, press stop and now you can play back and listen to your performance. Switch to the Arrangement view. You can adjust the length of a clip by clicking, holding and dragging the upper corners of a clip:

You can also add a clip from the Session view into the Arrangement view by click a clip, hold down, press tab to switch to the Arrangement View and drop the clip to the desired place.

Tip

You can also use the general keyboard shortcuts: CMD-C, CMD-V and CMD-X for COPY, PASTE and CUT.
